Tucker's new friend!
So Tucker has found a new friend, this friend is his reflection in our stove. We have a black front on the stove and when Tucker walks by he see his reflection. Sometimes it suprises him and he has to bark at it. Other times he goes to find his friend and then he is so excited and does a dance on his hind legs. It is so funny to watch him. Hope your having a great evening!

The puppies have names!!
We had Duane's Aunt and Uncle over for supper. They are so excited about the new puppy! Aunt Linda named her puppy Barney and the kids named ours Tucker. The puppy on the left is our puppy.
We seem to be making progress in the potty training department. They each only had one accident in the house today, yeah. They seem to be pretty smart. They like to roam the whole house. They have not seen the upstairs and we don't want them up there until they are trained. Rose has been doing a great job of taking the puppies outside.
They were never really outside before and are having fun in the snow. The kids said they like it for a little while and then they get cold. We are in the process of making them a little fleece jacket, that should help so they don't get so cold.
Our 3 year old cat doesn't know what to think about the new puppies and the new kittens. She is pretty crabby. Our 6 year old dog is trying very hard to ignore the new puppies. He has the policy of if you stay away from me and my balls I'll be ok with you.
So the kids are having a great time with all the animals in our house.

1st Day
Well day 1 of the new puppies has been very interesting. My son took the puppies out of the taxi to go outside and then he let them into the foyer which we thought we had puppy proofed. THANKS DANNY. I woke up to them playing and being quite active this morning. I checked on them a couple of times and they were having a great time but when my husband came home they had a huge mess. They had gone on a higher shelf in the foyer and taken a book and ripped off the front cover and pages. They shredded that. They had gotten down their food and it was every where. They had taken out every dog toy and had pulled a rug into the area. It was quite a sight. My husband was glad to be going to bed. So we cleaned that up well mostly my daughter did, THANKS ROSE!! My daughter has been great about taking them out. I sure hope that continues. You know how new things are for kids and I know it will get old but maybe they will be trained by then. She has done a fabulous job. AGAIN THANKS ROSE!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! They are very smart, they have already figured out how to open the gate and get out. So I taped the gate to the wall and they figured out how to peel the tape off so they can be by us. It was funny how they would wait until we settled in to do some homework and then they would gentlely peel the tape off. So I had to use stronger tape. They are really cute though. Well I will post more later hope your having a great day!

New Pets
Well what a day! We were on the road early to head to my sisters so that we could get another dog. We picked my mom and dad up on the way and arrived at my sisters house to pick out our new puppy. Well she had two left and we ended up getting both we are not sure which one we will keep. We ARE giving one as a birthday present to my husband's aunt (shhhhhhhh don't tell auntie). So we plan to house train them (hmmm oh no) and get them fixed before we give the dog to her. I sure hope that they house train quickly. So we dropped off mom and dad and headed to our next stop at the other sisters house to pick up two cats. We are in need of a couple barn cats for in the shed. We have a nice warm cat house they won't get to cold. It's even carpeted and insulated. So our children are very excited and are trying to figure out a name for all these new pets. Oh what crazy names they're coming up with, it may take a while to come up with the right names. The picture above shows the kids holding the two new puppies and the pug that is trying to ignore them is our dog Mugsy!! He is not quite sure what to think of them! Well wish me luck, I said I would never do the puppy thing again and here I am. Oh well such is life with kids!

Alpacas
We have been visiting an alpaca farm and my kids have been able to work with some alpacas. They are planning to bring them to the county fair for 4H. It will be the first time our county has had alpacas at the fair. It has been a very interesting experience.
The first time we went to this alpaca farm I think we all fell in love with them. They are a very gentle animal but can be high spirited which the kids are learning fast. The owner has been very kind and patient with the kids. They are learning so much. The time on the farm is a highlight in our family.
I am so excited that my children have this great opportunity!

Soft Scrub Total Bath and Bowl
I have been looking for a product to clean the bath tub. Most of the products I tried just did not cut the grime, calcium, lime, rust. Then I had a coupon for $1 off Soft Scrub. So I tried the New Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl.
Wow was I supprised, it worked great. You can use both foam or spray. I first used the foam and found that it took care of most of the dirt then I used the spray to finish the job. I used it in the toilet, it was really nice to be able to hold it upside down and spray, it made the job a lot easier.
So now that the main bathroom smells great and is clean on to my son's bathroom. This was the true test. The shower was just orange from the rust in our water and my son not cleaning his shower well. Oh my, it was pretty easy to clean it. I don't think I will tell my son, I will let him think I scrubbed for hours, teeheehee. No really it worked very well I did have to scrub more then on the tub but I was suprised how well it worked. I finished the bathroom and now it smell great.
I am so glad that I tried the Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner. Be very careful to use this product correctly following the directions and to keep out of the reach of children.
